Either way, the idea of dressing her up with cute little headbands and accessories has been so fun! In the mean time, I wanted to create something special for her to organize everything in her nursery. So I decided to put my creative skills to the test and make a DIY Headband Organizer for the collection she has so far. I use a cool little crafting device called a PenBlade , made here in Utah.

First, remove the glass from the picture frame. Then, spray paint the frame the color of your choosing. Next, cut the poster board to fit inside the frame. Place the poster board inside the frame and secure in place with the back of the frame. Once it fits, take it back out….. Space the stripes as far apart as you desire. Once the poster board is filled with stripes, put it back into the frame and secure the back in place. Then, take your metal T pins and place them a couple inches apart along one row from one side of the board to the other horizontally.

They also stick out pretty far which works well for the wider headbands. Next, hang a few headbands. Allow about an inch or two of space and then place a second row of metal pins on the poster board from one side to the other. You should have two wide rows of pins to hang several headbands on. As you add more hair accessories, you can add more pins to your liking. Hang on the wall, and your masterpiece is complete! This project took me about 15 minutes once the spray paint was dry.

We did 2 coats of spray paint the day before and let it dry overnight. Next DIY will be creating a pretty gallery wall for her nursery with different colored picture frames, wall prints, photos, and designs.
